Common questions
Everything you need to know about height safety systems, compliance requirements and our national service model.
Still have questions? Contact your local teamDo I need height safety systems on my building?
If anyone needs to access your roof for any reason — HVAC maintenance, cleaning, inspections — you are legally required to provide safe access under WHS Regulations. This applies to all commercial, industrial and multi-residential buildings.
What Australian Standards apply to height safety systems?
AS/NZS 1891 covers industrial fall-arrest systems and devices. AS 1657 covers fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders. All our systems are designed and installed to meet or exceed these standards.
How often do height safety systems need to be inspected?
AS/NZS 1891 requires annual inspection and recertification of all fall-arrest systems. We recommend six-monthly visual checks in addition to the formal annual inspection.
Do you operate nationally?
Yes. We have independent subsidiaries in all eight Australian capital cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin and Canberra. Each city team operates with local knowledge and national standards.
How long does a typical installation take?
Most standard installations are completed in one to two days. Larger or more complex projects may take longer, but we always provide a clear timeline before work begins.
Can you work on heritage or sensitive buildings?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience with heritage-listed buildings, churches and architecturally sensitive structures. Our engineers design non-invasive fixing methods that meet heritage requirements.
